Orientacje życiowe młodzieży akademickiej

Temat pracy doktorskiej Orientacje życiowe młodzieży akademickiej odzwierciedla główny cel badawczy jakim jest zbadanie orientacji życiowych młodzieży akademickiej oraz czynników jakie je różnicują. Pojęciem nadrzędnym jest kategoria orientacji życiowej. Rozprawa doktorska składa się z dwóch części. W pierwszej części znajdują się rozważania teoretyczne. Przybliżone zostały zagadnienia dotyczące współczesnego społeczeństwa i jego roli w determinowaniu orientacji życiowych. Podjęte zostały rozważania nad kondycją jednostki w świecie ponowoczesnym, jej poczuciem tożsamości. Przedstawione została problematyka orientacji życiowych oraz najważniejsze typologie orientacji. Przedmiotem rozważań teoretycznych są kwestie związane z funkcjonowaniem młodzieży we współczesnym świecie. Ujęcie socjologiczne oraz przedstawienie najważniejszych zadań rozwojowych przypisanych wczesnej dorosłości zarysowało problematykę młodzieży jako grupy społecznej będącej podmiotem prospektywnych zmian. Druga część rozprawy doktorskiej jest analizą empiryczną. W pracy sformułowano globalny problem badawczy: Jakie są orientacje życiowe młodzieży akademickiej? Wobec tak sformułowanego problemu globalnego, wyszczególniono trzy problemy główne: Jakie są autoidentyfikacje badanej młodzieży akademickiej? Jaka jest treść i zakres orientacji życiowych preferowanych przez badaną młodzież akademicką? oraz Jaki jest obraz współczesnej młodzieży postrzegany z perspektywy respondentów? The dissertation on the Life orientations of students reflects the main objective of the research which is to explore the life orientations of students and the factors that differentiate them. PhD thesis consists of two parts. The first part has theoretical character. It deals with issues of contemporary society and their role in determining the orientation of life. Considerations have been taken on the condition of the individual in a postmodern world and his/her sense of identity. Therefore, the orientation of life and the most important typologies of orientation were presented. The subject of theoretical considerations was involved with issues related to the functioning of youth in the modern world. Sociological aspect and presentation of the most important developmental tasks assigned to young adults outlined the problems of youth as a social group which is the subject to prospective changes. The second part of the doctoral thesis is an empirical analysis. The paper formulates global research problem: What are the life orientations of students? Facing such formulated global problem, three main issues were listed: What are the self-identifications of the young people? What is the content and scope of the life orientation preferred by the tested academic youth? and What is the image of contemporary youth seen from the perspective of the respondents?
