Circulatory deficits around the optic nerve head are a primary factor in the pathogenesis of the Normal-Tension-Glaucoma. In this study AVP and FBG were measured and as in previous studies a slower velocity in NDG-Patients. However, the ocular blood flow is of primary importance for the nutrition of the optic nerve head. It was calculated by a formula using different parameters measured as diameter, velocity and so forth, which proved to be rather time consuming. In this study another parameter is introduced, the Increase of the dye dilution curve, which correlates well with the calculated ocular blood flow.
