Automatische Optimierung zur Bewertung und Risikoanalyse einer Hochwasserschutzmaßnahme
Abstract
dc:descriptionTo yield the optimum result for a dike with a sheet pile wall as a flood defense measure an automatic optimization system is introduced. The measure is to protect the settlement from direct inundation and from rising groundwater levels. In the context of a principle study the structure of a numeric TEST MODEL is build. First a fundamental qualification test of the optimization system is made with a steady state model and a simplified evaluation. In the next investigation step an unsteady state flood wave is merged as boundary condition. Apart from the improved hydraulic description of the optimization problem the evaluation module is extended by statistically and empirically justified cost functions, so that a monetary evaluation of each suggested variant can take place. The invention of indirect parameterization, which uses geometry information from the finite elements net to reduce the necessary number of parameters for the description of a solution variant, forms the emphasis of the investigations at the TEST MODEL. The reduction of the number of parameters by indirect parameterization improves the optimization lastingly. Under adherence to the objectivity and the validity both the reliability and the efficiency of the optimization can be increased. In the third investigation step with the TEST MODEL a holistic risk analysis is merged into the evaluation module. In the context of the risk investigations it is possible to evaluate a variant considering up to a certain design flood and beyond that. The transmission of the automation system on a practice-relevant question takes place in the example of use Weiβer Bogen. Thus the possibilities and the restrictions of the practical use of an automatic optimization system to answer comprehensive questions in hydraulic engineering are put out.
