On-Board-Reduktionsmittelherstellung zur NO x-Emissionsminderung bei Dieselfahrzeugen
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe reduction of Diesel engine exhaust NOx emissions requires a reductant due to the composition (high oxygen content) of the exhaust gas. An efficient reductant is selected based on the comparison of literature data of different NOx reduction processes. A process for the on-board synthesis of this reductant is proposed. Based on experimental investigations a modell for the main catalytic unit operation of this process is derived. This modell is extended to consider also the impact of catalyst poisons. The extended modell is being used to calculate the energetic efficiency of the process by system simulations.
