Uroflowmetrie und Elektromyographie (EMG) des Beckenbodens bei urologisch gesunden Kindern
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe present work is addressed to evaluate micturition behaviour of healthy kindergarten- and schoolchildren by means of uroflowmetry and urine flow chart parameters of electromyography (EMG). It could be shown that each child displays an individual and reproducible flow pattern, independently of the volume. For clinical purchases and screening purposes, the present work shows that one uroflowmetric investigation with normal findings is sufficient to exclude a functional disturbance of the lower urinary tract. Furthermore the author was able to show that in regard to pathological uroflowmetric findings, a particular attention should be directed to testing conditions itself, since these have an impact to the test results. Minimum requirements for the test conditions are formulated.
