Modellbasierte Optimierung der Fremdvergabe im Anlagenbau

Due to the strong competition in international markets global sourcing is rapidly gaining importance for the capital product industry. Especially in plant engineering and construction – up to 90% of turnover are realized abroad – the well directed selection of suppliers can lead to enormous economisation in cost, running time and product quality. The decision, which scope of supply and services should be realized by which supplier, is influenced by a large number of parameters. The dissertation on hand focuses on the development of a method for the support of such decisions in an objective way. Key elements of this method are project- and company-specific targets and influence factors for global sourcing decisions in plant construction and engineering, a modelling method for plant development processes and an optimisation strategy, which can be applied on such a model.
