Vergleichende tierexperimentelle Studie zweier mikrochirurgischer Techniken zur Tubulovasostomie

Abstract

dc:description

Today the two-layer microsurgical tubulovasostomy by the end-to-side technique is the international standardized operation technique. The published studies demostrate different results concerning the passage of the anastomosis and the achieved pregnancys. A new experimental study with an invagination technique seemed to achieve better results concerning passage of anastomosis and pregnancy rates. Both techniques were examined with rats of the sprague dawley strain under conditions of tubule obstruction. 30 animals were divided in three groups of each 10 animals. 5 animals of each group were operated by the end-to-side and the invagination technique. In two of the three groups were different intervals fixed between vasectomy and tubulovasostomy. In the third group is no vasectomy done. The passage of the anastomosis is investigated by injektion of methylenblue, the fertility is checked by histological sperm analysis (sperm motility) and mating tests. In the last operation the testis and the epididymidis were examined for histological changes. The results concerning passage of the anstomosis and achieved pregnancys were comparable with the published studies. Under real conditions, like it is done in this study by creating an obstruction in the epididymidis, the invagination technique offers a new possibility in choosing the operation technique. The profit is the possibility of getting a sufficient anastomosis in higher regions of the epididymidis if sperm granulomas or an inflammation will prevent from placing the anastomosis in the lower part of the epididymidis. The end-to-side technique can not achieve the same results in this case.
